Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Supply Chain Intern (4-month) located in our consumer sector head office in Markham, Ontario.

As a Supply Chain Intern at our Markham location, you will be working closely with the Supply Chain Planning Team to ensure that we are meeting customer expectations. This role is responsible for analyzing and reporting on key supply chain metrics such as service level, forecasting error, and inventory value. You will investigate root causes on supply chain issues and drive action plans with cross-functional business partners. You will also have the opportunity to lead efforts on projects and process improvements that will contribute to the success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with local and international business partners to report key performance metrics with high degree of accuracy and reporting frequency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure related systems are maintained and improved
  • Participate in various projects such as supplier re-sites and graphics changes, new product launches and other supply chain improvement initiatives
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects both within Supply Chain and cross-functionally

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration, Engineering or Science degree program.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel using large data sets, formulas and reporting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • ERP system knowledge such as SAP/APO
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Exposure to Supply Chain Management through work experience or coursework.
