Cabot’s Marketing Department is offering a paid student internship. The Marketing and Communications Intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects to promote Cabot’s growing collection of luxury golf resorts. In addition to managing Cabot’s multiple social media accounts, the Marketing and Communications Intern will assist the team with graphic design, copywriting, editing, website updates, marketing and media initiatives, analytics, multimedia presentations, and other duties as assigned.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Write and execute social media posts
  • Analyze and report on social media tactics
  • Competitive analysis and reporting
  • Take photos & videos of the courses and resort activity (with DSLR and Drone)
  • Edit photos and videos for use in social media & digital campaigns
  • Assist with website maintenance
  • Write blog posts for the Cabot Links website
  • Design ads for community-related events
  • Design materials for internal communication
  • Monitor media for Cabot-related news

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to shift priorities as required
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented and solutions-driven
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team

Education & Work Experience:

  • Relevant education (Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations) an asset
  • Previous experience working in social content development an asset
