SUMMER CO OP: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, PERWINKLE CAFE

  • Location: Ingonish, Nova Scotia
  • Deadline: March 10, 2020 at 11:59 pm

Organization Description:

Salty Rose’s and the Periwinkle Cafe is dynamic and unique tourism and hospitality-based small business located on the world-famous Cabot Trail.  Our mandate is to support local whenever and wherever possible.  Our curated Craft Shop sells the work of over 40 Nova Scotian artisans and our Cafe uses the products of Cape Breton and then Nova Scotian farmers and producers whenever possible.

We also have a beautiful and bright 4 room hotel located above our craft shop and cafe.  Here we have the pleasure of hosting hundreds of guests from all over the world each season.  We pride ourselves on providing a peaceful yet interactive experience and are very highly rated and reviewed.  We aim to provide our guests with a fresh and clean place to rest as well as fuel (in the form of delicious and nourishing food) from our cafe and locals’ knowledge and recommendations for their trip around the Cabot Trail.

Our business is located in a beautifully restored Victorian-style farmhouse directly on the Cabot Trail.  We offer an open and inclusive work environment that fosters creativity and fun.  Both owner/operators are at the business daily to oversee operations and offer a hands-on approach to training staff and managing the business. An added perk of the position is being able to spend the Spring/Summer season in Ingonish, just moments from all the Cape Breton Highlands National Park has to offer and a short walk/drive to many beautiful beaches, waterfalls and lakes.

Please feel free to visit our website www.saltyrosesandtheperiwinklecafe.com or instagram @periwinklecafe to see our business for yourself.
