– Co-op/ Intern: Summer 2023

As a valued member of KPMG Enterprise, you will be involved in preparing compiled financial statements and preparing working paper files for income tax returns for companies, partnerships, and trusts. Your day-to-day work could include bookkeeping duties, such as preparation or review of investment account reconciliations, and maintaining client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedules. It could also include ensuring follow-up on Notices of Assessments.

You will be part of a team supporting engagements across a diverse group of industries and deliver on a variety of assignments including:
– Bookkeeping services
– Preparation of monthly account reconciliation
– Preparation of corporate income tax returns
– Perform financial and systems analysis for purposes of monthly management reporting

Co-ops and Internships
Throughout a co-op or internship, you’ll work on client engagement and have access to training, professional development, and innovative learning experiences. From analyzing and assessing business processes to improving client performance, you’ll be building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success.

You’re passionate about being involved in your local community and university and have a proven ability to achieve personal and professional success while juggling competing priorities and deadlines. You have a strong academic record and may be committed to achieving your CPA designation post-graduation.
