What will your typical day look like?  

As part of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team at Deloitte, the DEI Intern will support the work of the Inclusion team and team members portfolio. This internship will offer the right candidate a unique opportunity to gain a fundamental understanding of a world-class Inclusion center of expertise that focuses both internally and externally. Key areas of responsibilities can include:

  • Support the roll-out of our Special Programs focused on hiring diverse talent
  • Support the project management/project manager on anti-Racism focused initiatives, specifically:
    • The Black Action Council
    • Overall Inclusion Team Roadmap
  • Support the development and execution of Employee Resource Groups (ERG) Initiatives
  • Develop a community engagement plan for an ERG week
  • Identify and organize key Firm inclusion Materials and ensure our site stays up to date.
  • Create Inclusion team presentations to be used internally and externally

About the team 

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team is responsible for developing and executing the firm’s DEI’s vision, which is to incorporate inclusion into every aspect of our business – our internal processes, our people, and our client work.

You are someone with:

  • Enrollment in a post secondary program such as human resources, business/commerce or other relevant programs
  • Demonstrated interest or previous inclusion experience considered an asset
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
  • Superb planning and an ability to execute complex initiatives
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests at one time while maintaining high attention to detail
  • High energy, dynamic individual with the ability to excel in a fast paced professional services environment
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written skills in French considered an asset
