The Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture has a legislated mandate to manage, promote, support and develop the fishing, aquaculture and seafood processing industries that contribute to the economic, environmental and social prosperity of Nova Scotia’s coastal and rural communities. Under minimal direction of the Director, you will provide comprehensive, high-level secretarial, administrative and clerical services and support to the Marine and Coastal Services Division in order to facilitate the effective and efficient functioning of the Division’s operations.

This role requires the successful completion of a one (1) year secretarial/business administration diploma course from a recognized program plus three (3) years’ experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable.

Pay Grade: CL 18
Salary Range: $1,579.09 – $1,766.79 Bi-Weekly
