position of Project Coordinator Co-op Student at our Wreck Cove Hydro Station.

Accountabilities:

The successful student will support the Wreck Cove Hydro Station team. Accountabilities include:
• Supporting the engineering team in procuring and tracking long lead items and materials prior to
planned outage;
• Assisting contractors with site orientation and Contractor Safety Program;
• Working with teams of project managers, project engineers, engineering specialists, operations
and maintenance personnel, suppliers, engineering consultants and contractors to assure the
successful completion of projects at Wreck Cove.

You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring
compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

The successful incumbent must be enrolled in their third year or higher of an Electrical or Mechanical
Engineering programor Engineering Technology program. The candidate must have exceptional
communication skills, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with good problemsolving techniques. You must be skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, and analytical skills.
