About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a sharp and lively Logistics Co-op to become part of our team. As our Logistics Intern, you’ll be key in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly. This role will let you work closely with our seasoned logistics team, where you’ll learn a ton about managing inventory, how logistics work, and how to solve problems quickly in a busy setting.

Some key duties of our Logistics Intern include:

  • Receiving Shipments: Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of incoming materials.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
  • Addressing Customs Delays: Work with customs officials and freight forwarders to resolve any delays in shipments.
  • Supplier Relations: Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and address any issues that arise.
  • Root Cause Investigation: Investigate and identify the root causes of any logistical problems and propose solutions.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications for a Role as Logistics Co-op Student:

  • Enrolled in an Undergraduate Business Program with a Co-op specific course requirement
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory records.
  • Analytical Thinking: Assess situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Clear and Effective Communication: Articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Tackle challenges head-on with innovative solutions.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
