Land Analyst – Student: Imperial

Job description

As part of the Land team, you will be involved in a variety of assignments while receiving a broad range of experience and exposure to land administration with highly skilled mentors/land experts as well as gaining oil and gas industry experience and training, which will benefit you in your pursuit of a land management career. As a Land analyst, you will be involved in the areas of mineral lease, land contract administration and/or surface administration.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Analysis of land agreements, titles and records
  • Assist with administrative tasks
  • Title verification and review
  • Finalization of outstanding unexecuted agreements • Land compliance work with guidance from mentor
  • Land projects as required

Qualifications Academic:

  • 3rd year Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent planning to return to school after their work term
  • To be considered for employment, your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application

  • Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Team player and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Work term: 4 months
