The Organizational Development Student will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (100 Midland Drive, E1A 7G9). Reporting to the HR Optimization Lead, the Organizational Development Student will play a key role in the organization and rollout of training and development, performance management, and reporting processes. The primary focus of this role is to support and streamline new and recurring Organizational Development processes, as well as expanding on the Human Resources and Organizational Development knowledge and experience of the Organizational Development student. This is a temporary student position.

Job Requirements 

  • Enrolment in College or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field;
  • Good academic standing required;
  • Completion of one prior internship/work term in a Human Resources of Business-related field required;
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Goal-oriented with excellent time management skills;
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong attention to detail.


The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

HR Process Support:

  • Support key Organizational Development processes with the support of the HR Optimization Lead and the Human Resources Coordinator (Check-In, Skillsoft, etc.);
  • Identify and develop process improvements and work instructions with a continuous improvement and efficiency mindset.

HR Systems Administration and Reporting:

  • Conduct routine transactions using our HR system (Oracle HCM) for course creations, enrolments, and completions;
  • Run regular and ad-hoc reports, as requested.

Special Projects:

  • Assist with and take ownership of key projects in Organizational Development;
  • Completion, implementation, and presentation of a term-length project.

Other duties as assigned may include:

  • Coordination of meetings, training sessions, and events;
  • Drafting and communication of organizational announcements for new and recurring initiatives.
