As an IT Data and Integration, Co-op Student in the Enterprise Data Office team, you will have the opportunity to work with leaders in the Retail Industry with robust learning, collaboration, and engaging experiences! You will gain valuable exposure to one of Canada’s largest grocers as we unleash our full potential by embracing emerging technologies and new digital capabilities that are reshaping the customer experience.

We believe that the best ideas come from a diverse workforce with unique perspectives and encourage our Co-op Students to be curious and innovative! During your co-op term, you will be identifying technical solutions to meet requirements and ensure the development of detailed functional, technical and operational specifications for delivery of recommended solutions. This includes researching, documenting, and modifying software and specifications throughout the development life cycle.

At Sobeys our corporate roles follow a hybrid model with an expectation to work in one of our offices three (3) days per week. We are currently offering the IT Data and Integration, Co-op Student 4-month term position in the following locations:

  • Mississauga, Ontario
  • Stellarton, Nova Scotia

We are seeking students that meet the following criteria:

  • You are enrolled in a university Computer Science Co-op Program or other relevant program
  • You are available to work full time between September and the end of August
  • You are a team player who likes to collaborate and build relationships but also works well independently
  • You are excited about learning in a large corporate environment, and have excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
