What will you do?

  • Support the day to day operations of the HR function to which you are assigned (sample areas include Compensation, Transformation, Recruitment, Learning and Development, Organizational Effectiveness)
  • Act as a partner to and liaise with business partners
  • Work with various visualization programs
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes
  • HR modelling forecasting and analysis
  • Work with various visualization programs
  • Interpret data using careful business-grounded logic and analytics techniques to test controls, find exceptions, and discover insights and trends.
  • Participate in research, analyses and human capital assessments
  • Be responsible to develop and run HR models
  • Provide strong human capital governance, including assisting with monthly reporting cycle and related account reconciliations and standards of documentation

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in human resources, business, psychology or a related discipline
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary school and eligible to complete a work term
  • Experience or understanding of HR analysis, modelling, forecasting and reporting
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure
  • Excellent MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience working in a financial services environment
  • Experience or understanding of human resource practices
  • Knowledge in data analytics and data visualization tools
  • Tableau, Power BI
