Front Desk Attendant

This position will promote an “exceptional resort experience”.  Will be responsible to professionally and pleasantly attend to member and guest needs while providing excellent customer service. This position will help service and direct members and guests on the property, by phone and through email.  This position will be responsible for hotel check in procedures, bookings and all other inquires.  This position will also be responsible to check in guests for their tee times, take tee-time reservations and field general golf related inquires.  This position will be cross trained to be able to perform functions of Player Assistant, Outside Guest Services and may be trained for special events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with members, guests and fellow co-workers
  • Responsible for taking hotel bookings and tee time reservations.
  • Follow standard procedures to check-in/check-out members and guests for both golf and accommodations
  • Responsible to field all phone and email inquires
  • Position will assist with retail inquires and support requested of patrons
  • Maintain a clean and safe presentation of the professional shop and its inventory
  • Provide assistance for club and corporate events
  • Registering members and guest for events as well as renewing annual memberships and selling new memberships. Selling of other club amenities and services
  • Providing direction to resort guests and members
  • Performing office duties such as typing up documents on word or excel
  • Required to assist with follow up phone calls to members and guests, selling of promotional materials, events and activities

Requirements:

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, Capable of handling customer complaints effectively, ability to carry up to 30lbs, be proficient in Microsoft office, social media platforms and willingness to learn POS systems.
