Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society is a national charity dedicated to both increasing survival and improving the quality of life for every Canadian diagnosed with pancreatic cancer through awareness raising, education, support and research. Our vision is a world where surviving pancreatic cancer is expected.
The role of the Marketing & Communications Coordinator is vital to the success of our four pillars:
- Public Awareness
- Patient Support
- Healthcare Education
- Research
The successful candidate will work under the direction of our Director of Marketing and Communications.
Responsibilities
- Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications to execute operational plans for events including but not limited to; Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day, National Pancreas Conference
- Research and help refine measurement strategies for marketing campaigns
- Help with the development of promotional marketing materials and visual merchandising.
- Research and engage media contacts and companies that share common synergies for partnerships, sponsorship, in-kind donations, promotion of events, etc.
- Prepare grants, reports, press materials and presentations
- Assisting with the maintenance of our website, social media accounts and databases.
- Gathering and analyzing data from various channels.
- Preparing end of year reports
- Gathering information for next years social media calendar
- Meeting twice a week with our team to discuss, plan and execute operational plans.
- Meeting all deadlines
- Other related duties as assigned
Education
- Currently in Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies program.
Experience
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms

Salary
$16.00 per hour / 35 hours a week / minimum of 14 weeks starting Sept 6, 2022
