E-Commerce Advisors (Remote Position)

The Canada Digital Adoption Program is excited to form a team of talented students to help small local businesses be more present in the e-commerce landscape. You will earn valuable experience in multiple business operations and be able to help guide the businesses through the program and help with e-commerce solutions if needed.

This position will create amazing networking opportunities with local businesses across Atlantic Canada will help improve your communication skills with the local business community.

Job Description

  • Full time (40 Hours a week) and part time (20 Hours a week) work terms available
  • This position offers a competitive stipend or hourly pay for Full-Time terms and hourly pay for Part-Time terms
  • $17.50 / Hourly to $19.50 / Hourly.

Onboarding Assistance 

  • Being the first contact for businesses when they have registered online for the Canada Digital Adoption Program.
  • Reaching out to businesses remotely to introduce the program and answer any questions with the purpose of onboarding the business to the Canada Digital Adoption Program.

Reporting and Feedback 

  • E-Commerce Advisors report weekly to the Team Coordinator.
  • E-Commerce Advisors must attend Team Meetings as set out by the Team Coordinator 
  • E-Commerce Advisors may be required to attend webinars, workshops and events related to Canada Digital Adoption Program.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Must be a post-secondary student
  • Must be comfortable and/or have a high level of curiosity (with an interest in learning) in the Digital space including but not limited to social media, e-commerce, SEM/SEO, and inventory management tools.
  • Must have a laptop and Wi-Fi connection
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been confirmed under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
