Job description

Imperial is looking for ambitious and highly motivated business students to join our Procurement Services Department (PSD). You will be working in a fast-paced team environment and have the opportunity to grow in the negotiation, contracting and payment, of materials and services.

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing client advice and guidance related to acquisition processes
  • Negotiating pricing and terms with vendors
  • Providing support in expediting material deliveries and resolving invoicing issues • Conducting agreement reviews to determine alignment with controls
  • Providing analytics to support contract administration activities

Student terms will also include a variety of short-term projects with specific deliverables for completion by the end of your work term.

Position is located at our Quarry Park Campus in Calgary, AB.

Qualifications Academic:

  • Candidate pursuing a university Business degree, Supply Chain Management degree, or Master program planning to return to school after their work term
  • To be considered for employment, your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application


  • Supply chain/ procurement experience is preferred
  • A desire to learn,and create value
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interface with suppliers and business clients • Team player with business acumen, and effective time management abilities
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
