Position: Junior Associate, Client Operations, Fund Administration (Co-op position)

Core responsibilities:
• Provide a full range of fund accounting services to hedge fund clients, including NAV preparation, reviewing corporate actions, verifying security pricing, performing cash and security position reconciliations.
• Provide a complete range of fund administration services to hedge fund clients and investors, including compliance procedures, working with investment managers, brokers, custodians and auditors.
• Provide customer service to hedge fund managers and investors.
• Participate in multiple system improvement projects and automation projects.
Key Requirements:
• A co-op university student, in good academic standing, currently pursuing an accounting, finance or economic major
• Demonstrate an ability to multi-task, exercise initiative and work effectively within a team environment
• Understanding of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, etc. preferred but not required
• Proven investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate a diligent and methodical approach to tasks
• Strong time management and organizational skill
Compensation
This role earns an hourly wage of $17.00CAD, working 37.5 hours per week. This is a 16 week co-op position.
Start Date – January 8, 2024
End Date – April 26, 2024
