Bartender — TEAM LEAD

Job Summary

Reporting to the Food Services Director, a Team Lead is responsible for supervising staff and for ensuring a memorably experience for students and guests of CBU.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Bar service operations.
  • Know, understand and comply with all relevant operational standards and procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Compass’ Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations and Liquor control act.
  • Bar scheduling and staff training.
  • Work with the CBUSU in organizing events

  • Experience & Education in the Food Service/ Hospitality Industry.
  • FoodSafe Level 1 Certification (Will be provided)
  • Servesafe Training (will be provided)lead
  • A strong motivator, mentor and leader.
  • A very detail-oriented individual and a strong team player.
  • Good client relationship skills. Food and Beverage experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel.)
