The CBU Uniqorn Café is a Queer Friendly open mic night + café held at the Cape Breton University Art Gallery every month. The cafe is hosted and coordinated by the CBU Theatre Society in conjunction with the CBU Art Gallery. The café is a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, including youth. Allies are welcome.
All forms of art are welcome at the open mic: singing, dancing, slam poetry reading, etc.
Come discover what makes the events so fun! Some of the unique things that the CBU Uniqorn Café has to offer:
- Pronoun pins
- Customizable Casey the Unicorn pins
- Colouring pages
- Hot chocolate bar
All members of the LGBTQ+ community are invited to attend; the café is an all-ages event and admission is always free!
