Cape Breton University believes strongly in life long learning and continuing education for teachers and professionals. For this reason CBU offers a series of innovative learning opportunities designed to enhance, strengthen and increase knowledge and qualifications.
All of the programs are offered on a part time basis and most of them are offered exclusively online to keep up with your busy lifestyle.
All programs (excluding the MEd SCI) have been certified by the Department of Education, Province of Nova Scotia for teacher License Reclassification.
Graduate Level Teacher Education Programs
Certificate in Science Education (K – 8) (next intake: Spring 2018)

Master of Education (Information Technology)
This program is co-offered through Memorial University. All application processes are completed through MUN.
Master of Education in Sustainability, Creativity and Innovation (SCI): *Application Due: May 1st, 2017 for September 2017 start)
At this time, CBU is unable to accept any applicants from the Maritime provinces.
