Program Structure

  • 3 year General Degree
  • 4 Year Major Degree

Major

Students can major in philosophy by acquiring 42 credits in philosophy. This is the option for the most serious philosophy students. Please see calendar.cbu.ca for more details.*

Double Major

In the double major option, students must acquire either 36 or 24 credits in philosophy depending on the level of the courses taken. Please see calendar.cbu.ca for more details.*

Minor

Students in the four-year BA can minor in philosophy by acquiring 24 credits in philosophy (or cross-listed) courses including required courses and course levels. Please see calendar.cbu.ca for more details.*

Concentration

Students enrolled in a three-year program may concentrate in philosophy by obtaining any 30 credits in philosophy (or cross-listed) courses as long as required courses and course levels are taken. Please see calendar.cbu.ca for more details.*
