I’ve applied to CBU. What happens next?

If you’ve applied to CBU and are wondering what will happen next, have no worry – we’re here to guide you every step of the way!

Generally speaking, if you’re a high school student and have submitted your application and most recent transcript, the next step is to be patient and wait for a response on your admission status. For most programs, it will take 2-3 weeks for us to receive and process your application and send your acceptance letter out to you.

Two exceptions:

If you’ve applied to the Bachelor of Science Nursing program and submitted your transcripts by the deadline, you will need to wait until approximately the first week of April to hear back about your admission status. This is because admissions decisions will not be made until the end of March 2014 due to the high number of applicants and the limited number of students admitted to the program.

Applicants entering directly from high school who have applied for entrance scholarships/bursaries and have submitted their high school transcripts by the March 3, 2014 deadline can expect a response by the last week of March. We can appreciate your enthusiasm and anxiousness to hear the results, but we want to make sure we do it right!

There is no application deadline for most programs at CBU, so if you haven’t applied yet, don’t worry! You can apply anytime by visiting www.cbu.ca/admissions.

And of course, if you have any questions about the process, don’t hesitate to be in touch! Send an email to admissions@cbu.ca and you’ll hear back from us as soon as possible.
