What’s happening everyone!
What a weekend that was! Caper-Con was awesome, Orange Out was a blast, and our men and women’s soccer teams dominated their opponents. This week, the society fair was held in the cafeteria. I know you folks probably hear it over and over again, but getting involved with the societies or activities that happen around CBU can be a great way to meet new people and have some fun. I never really got involved in anything my first year – I would go to class and then head home for the day. However, my second year I started going to pit events, sports games and events around campus. I met so many awesome people by doing this, and I can honestly say that my second year at CBU was far better than my first! Whether you’re a first- year student or even a fourth-year student, I recommend getting involved and seeing what the CBU community has to offer!
Aside from the Pit event tomorrow, it’s also National Cheeseburger Day. I laughed when I read this because I realized how many cheeseburgers I’ll probably eat. Also, this weekend is the 2nd CBU Multiversity Cultural Festival. I was unable to attend last year because I had work, but this year I cannot wait. Everyone I talked to that went last year said it was an amazing time. This year, there will be food vendors, henna tattoos, musical acts and much more! Come on out to the CBU campus courtyard on Saturday! The event will start at 2pm and end at 8pm.
Finally, folks if you have any ideas for my show or you know of an event you want me to attend. You can send an e-mail to email@example.com , you can send a tweet to (@caper_buzz) or you can leave a post on my vlog page at www.cbu.ca/caperbuzz. I’m always happy to listen to what you folks want to see! Have a great weekend everyone!
