Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Cape Breton

'Man Up', and slip into your heels to raise awareness about the serious issue of violence against women.

The Transition House Foundation invites you to participate in its first event for men only; Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is a pledge-based fundraiser to support the work the Cape Breton Transition House does to provide a safe haven for abused women and children. Register as an individual or as a team, raise pledges, and then bring your family and friends to cheer you on as you walk a one-mile route through north-end Sydney in high heels.

Donations can be made to a specific walker, to a team, or to the event itself; there are prizes available for raising the most money!

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® takes place rain or shine.
