Registration for the 2014 Fall/Winter academic terms at CBU opens on Thursday, July 3rd. You can register anytime between then and the start of classes in September, but it is recommended that you register as early as possible to ensure you have the most flexibility in course selection and scheduling.
If you are a new CBU student, you must do the following before you can register:
submit your final transcript to the CBU Registrar’s Office (It can either be faxed directly from the school, or mailed or dropped off in an envelope sealed by the school. See the contact information at the bottom of this blog post.)
- receive academic advising (visit www.cbu.ca/fyac for more information)
*Note: If you have previous postsecondary experience and wish to receive credit at CBU for these courses, you must apply for transfer credits by submitting a Transfer Credit Assessment application. Transfer students cannot be advised or register for courses until transfer credits have been determined. This assessment can take from 2 – 8 weeks to complete, so the earlier you apply the better!
Please note that if final documents are received after August 1st, we cannot guarantee processing for September registration.
After you have completed the necessary steps above, you can register for classes online or in person at the CBU Registrar’s Office. If you wish to register online, use this handy Online Registration Guide to help guide you through the process.
If you have any questions or trouble registering online, you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
