About a week or so ago, departments at Cape Breton University were invited to decorate a wreath for a silent auction to be held at the Handmade Holiday on Monday, November 18th. Money raised will support the Society of Deaf & Hard of Hearing. As a crafty person, I was thrilled when my colleagues agreed to participate.
Following a flurry of emails, we agreed to meet on Thursday night to purchase supplies and finish the wreath. Thanks to Mary Beth Doucette (Interim Executive Director) and Ann Terese Doucette (mentor in the BNAY) for joining me in the decorating and Allan MacKenzie (Project Manager) for his enthusiastic support of the initiative!

Here's hoping we raise lots of money for a very good cause!
