Books, Games and Apps

So much time, thought and consultation has gone into the development of the text book and now we are ready with the RFP. So of course, my  thoughts now turn to how we can make this project as attractice as possible to as many students as possible. Yesterday I had a fabulous two and a half hour meeting seeing the best of educational gaming. Some products are wonderfully low tech; card and board games, while others are sophisticated smart phone apps with some desk top products which use crisp images, interactive subthemes and testing, all wrapped around the notion of maximum support for a teacher's learning objectives and outcomes. This challenge is how do we design products which are inclusvie and panAboriginal, financially viable and require little tech support.This is the beginning of another journey.
