Team Kitpu’k – Aboriginal Youth Mentorship Program – 2nd year

This is my 2nd year being involved as a mentor with Cape Breton University – Aboriginal Youth Mentorship Program. This year the conference was held in Wagmatcook N.S. at their Wagmatcook Culture & Heritage Centre.

The students got to design logos for there teams, our team is called Kitpu'k, meaning eagles. They also did presentations about a business from their community and listened to an introduction by Chief Norman Bernard of Wagmatcook and presentations by Chief Leroy Denny of Eskasoni and Robert Bernard of DMG Consulting.
