Now Open: National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

Each year, CBU looks for student feedback through student surveys.  One of our most important and most utilized tools for collecting student feedback is the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).  On February 13, 2017, current first-year and senior students who were registered in the fall term were sent an email from Dr. Dale Keefe, Interim President, inviting them to participate in NSSE.  The link to the survey can be found in that email, or invited students can access the survey by logging into their Student Online Access or visiting https://nssesurvey.org/ (click on ‘Don’t know your login ID’ and enter your email address).

This is our 7th consectutive year participating in NSSE and results are used annually to inform important institutional decision making.  Several initiatives, such as the Math & Science Centre and Academic Success Coaching, came in large part out of student input through NSSE.  If you’ve received an invite this year, please take the time to complete the survey and help shape the future of CBU.  PLUS, you can win some great prizes: a 3-credit tuition waiver, an Apple Watch, or $100 credit on your CBU smart card.

More information on NSSE and reports from previous administrations of the survey are published on our website.
