BHTM – Management Training Opportunities – Cape Breton Resorts

Requirements

Cape Breton Resorts is offering management training opportunities to 4 students that are in Hospitality or Business programs.  Positions tailored to current immigration streams.

Individuals will be offered the opportunity to work closely with key managers of Dundee Resort and Golf Club, Inverary Resort or Bell Bay Golf Club.  The training program will give candidates practical experience in the areas listed below to help qualify them for a management position.

Responsibilities

-Rooms Management

-Food and Beverage Management

-Golf Operations

-HR Skills/Administration

-Recreation Management

-Resort Development

-Management Capital Programs/Facility Maintenance

-Staff Management

-Budgeting and Cost Control

-Sales and Marketing

-Industry Certification Programs (TIANS)

-Participation in Industry Events

The positions available would be:

-Assistant to the GM of Dundee Resort and Golf Club

-Assistant to the GM of the Inverary Resort

-Assistant to the Manager of Golf Operations for Bell Bay Golf Club

-Assistant to the Food and Beverage Manager of Cape Breton Resorts
