Use of Residual NSERC and SSHRC Fund

NSERC and SSHRC grants that have ended and have not been renewed or extended may have residual balances. Under certain circumstances determined by their Finance and Awards Administration Division, NSERC and SSHRC allow residual funds from prior years to be retained by an institution.
