Town Halls set to Discuss Opportunities for Canada Games Complex

In May, Cape Breton University (CBU) announced the creation of a community led task force that would help guide the go forward plans for the Canada Games Complex.  Co-Chaired by Anita DeLazzer, Publisher, Cape Breton Post and Kirk MacRae, President, RKM Investments Ltd., and with support of Carl (Bucky) Buchanan, the group has assembled an impressive group of community members to assist with the project.

Town Hall discussions will begin this month in communities across Cape Breton Island.

The discussion will be guided by three points:

·         Assessment of needs within the community.

·         Stakeholder Analysis – Who has an interest?

·         How to move the idea(s) forward?
