Bluenose and The Tortoise And The Hare will give audiences a refreshing theatrical experience with their visual style and clownish content,“ says Todd Hiscock, Boardmore Theatre Director.
All aboard the Shark de Triomphe, in search of pirate plunder and clownish blunder. A treasure chest bursting with song and slapstick, "Bluenose" is a delightful voyage, no matter your age or the colour of your nose!
About The Tortoise and the Hare
The classic tale of the Tortoise and the Hare is retold in a very weird way by our very own Mr. WeirdBeard! Shelly the tortoise, Chase the hare, Ms. Jazzy Bear the music teacher, and Iggy the sly salesman are all part of the Big Race. There are a few distractions along the way and a big surprise waiting at the finish line!
Show tickets are available at the CBU Playhouse Box Office, Monday to Friday from 1-5 p.m. and one hour before show time. The box office will open one week prior to performance and during the week of the production. Tickets are $15 general; $10 students and seniors; and $8 CBU students. There is also a Two Play Ticket Package available for $20 general, $10 students/seniors. Tickets sales begin Monday April 27 at 1p.m.
