Be Bold for Change: International Women’s Day 2017

A message from Interim President Dale Keefe:

Cape Breton University is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day; a day to recognize the accomplishments of women and to acknowledge that challenges must be overcome in the pursuit for gender parity. This year’s theme is Be Bold For Change. On this International Women’s Day, I challenge the CBU community to lead by example, take the pledge to #BeBoldForChange, and more importantly to follow-up the pledge with action, not only today but everyday, to create change.

Events on Campus

  • Join the CBUSU Women’s Centre in the Cafeteria and help fill their whiteboard with bold actions for change
  • Watch as a live painter interprets what #BeBoldForChange means visually. Located in the cafeteria
  • Make your pledge against Sexual Violence at the purple support wall for #CBUStandsUp
  • Follow cbuniversity on Snapchat as BA student Baillie Ferguson takes over for IWD
