Annette Verschuren named one of the Top 10 Women in Sustainability

Cape Breton University is pleased to congratulate its Chancellor Annette Verschuren on being named one of the Top 10 Women in Sustainability by the Corporate Knights: The Company for Clean Capitalism.

In recognition of her support and effort to see CBU’s Centre for Sustainability in Energy and the Environment come to fruition, the Centre was named in her honour – a fitting tribute to a successful business woman who has always championed Cape Breton, its university and the opportunities for a sustainable future.

Verschuren is currently the Chair & CEO of NRStor. Inc, an energy storage company based in Toronto, Ontario. She is well-known for her past role as the President of The Home Depot Canada and Asia.

Congratulations from your friends at Cape Breton University
