The Mi'kmaq Resource Centre, part of the Unama'ki College of Cape Breton University, is a repository of documents and research facility available for use by :
- Cape Breton University Students
- Mi'kmaw schools and educational institutions
- Mi'kmaw social and cultural organizations
- Mi'kmaw justice organizations
- Individuals interested in Mi'kmaw issues
The Mi'kmaq Resource Centre collects material concerning Mi'kmaq history, language, and culture. If you or your organization would like to contribute any documents, or have material we might use, please contact us.
Hours of Operation and Contact Information
The MRC is open Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. & Monday by appointment. Located within Cape Breton University, Student, Culture, & Heritage Centre, off the Great Hall. Our entrance is inside the Beaton Institute round the corner from the Art Gallery. The MRC is wheelchair accessible; parking available for $1.00 daily rate. Our address:
