Social Life

One thing that sets CBU apart from other universities is the vibrant and close community atmosphere on campus. From the cafeteria staff to the President, our faculty and staff are always ready to help and they definitely like to join in on the fun.

The experiences you will have over your university career at CBU will be one of a kind, they will be talked about and they will definitely not be forgotten. The great thing about a small campus is there’s always something unique going on, the student body is always involved and there is never a dull moment.

Whether you’re a member of one of the 70 plus CBU societies, cheering on the CAPERS Athletics teams or racing robots in the Annual Student Undergraduate Research Forum, you’re going to find something to pique your interest.

At CBU, students like to dress up. They like it so much Halloween is celebrated twice a year, beach gear is a must for Hawaiian Night and almost every weekend there is a new theme night. The newly renovated Pit Lounge is the main venue for these parties and events along with battle of the bands, open mic nights and wing nights to name a few.

Whether you live on campus or off, let’s face it, there is more to university then books and classes. So get involved, it’s the best way to experience CBU and meet new and interesting friends.
