MIKM 2701:Learning from Knowledge Keepers of Mi’kma’ki is Cape Breton University’s first free, online, open-access, share-with-the world Indigenous course.
The course was designed to allow for many opportunities to share knowledge and intercultural dialogue, which will emerge as we discuss the rich history, culture, and wisdom of Indigenous peoples in Mi’kma’ki and across Canada. This course will be run through a dialogical approach to allow for participant engagement and to resonate with indigenous ways of teaching and learning. Each class will be live webcasted, and then archived online, to increase the accessibility and opportunity for participants to join from a variety of locations.
