While visiting Cape Breton University in September of 2010 for the International Mine Water Association conference hosted here in Sydney, NS, Madame Zhou of the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission China and Dr. Keith Brown, CBU’s Vice-President External, sign a renewed Memorandum of Understanding which will maintain and enhance CBU’s partnerships in China until 2012 and beyond.
Representatives from Australia’s University of Newcastle and Canada based GlobaLinks spent the day on CBU’s Campus Friday, February 4th, to discuss possible areas of collaboration including the Centre for Sustainability of Energy and the Environment, and Indigenous Studies, potential joint degree delivery and student and faculty exchanges.

Representatives from the Saudi Cultural Bureau spent the day on CBU’s Campus Friday, January 21st , 2011, to discuss the progress of the more than one hundred students currently studying at CBU and additional students enrolled at ICEAP.
