School of Champions

For 35 years, CBU CAPERS have been successful on the court, in the field and in the classroom. The past 10 seasons have seen the CAPERS winning numerous championships and consistently ranking among the top teams in Canada.

Creating Champions is a $2 million endowment fund in support of athletic scholarships. The fund will be used to support scholarships for deserving student-athletes.

"Some of my most enjoyable moments at Cape Breton University have been getting to know the young men and women who pour their heart and soul into competing on the court and on the field, proudly wearing a CAPERS jersey. Watching our women's soccer team become National Champions in 2007, was something I will never forget.
