Don Nerbas holds a BA (Honours) from the University of Winnipeg and an MA and PhD in Canadian History from the University of New Brunswick. He was a postdoctoral fellow at McGill University prior to his arrival at CBU. His research and teaching interests broadly centre on the history of capitalism and business elites, and includes a focus upon the history of Atlantic Canada. His work has appeared in numerous academic journals, and he is the author of Dominion of Capital: The Politics of Big Business and the Crisis of the Canadian Bourgeoisie, 1914-1947 (University of Toronto Press, 2013).
