
The Centre was established by Dr.'s Covell and Howe in 1995
The mandate of the CBU Children’s Rights Centre is to:
Conduct research on children’s rights and children’s issues,
further public knowledge and education about children’s rights,
monitor the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in Canada,provide a resource centre for students conducting research in children’s rights through courses, training and employment, and direct supervision of student research projects.
