Dr. Barre's current research involves the application of nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics to the nutraceutical prevention and post-onset management of Type 2 Diabetes in humans with a view to the reduction of polypharmacy. To date, he has completed the analyses for a flaxseed oil clinical study and is currently conducting a clinical trial with a flaxseed lignan complex.
