Cape Breton University’s School of Education, Health and Wellness is clearly dedicated to both its students and the community as a whole as demonstrated by its programs in educational and health related disciplines. There are program choice that creates opportunities for students to enter the fields of Nutrition, Public Health, Nursing and Education.

At CBU faculty prepare our students through the delivery well rounded curriculums and on site practicums and clinicals that give them the knowledge and hands-on experience hey will need to become a confident nurse, educator, public health inspector and more. A number of students choose to begin their Nutrition degree program by completing the first two years of their program at CBU and completing it under a transfer agreement that is in place with another provincial university.

By nurturing relationships with the Cape Breton District Health Authority, the Cape Breton Regional Victoria School Board, and government departments our students thrive and grow in real life working situations. Our Nursing, Education and Public Health grads experience virtually a 100% graduate employment rate.
