Interested in working in the heritage field?  Want to add practical, hands-on skills to your undergraduate experience?  Thinking about applying to graduate school?

If so, this internship program may be right for you!

If you are a third or fourth-year student — and your major, minor, or concentration is in history, folklore, music or Gaelic — then you are eligible to apply.

Internships provide up to 6 course credits at the 3000 or 4000-level as well as a small stipend.   In the past, interns have worked at Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, the Beaton Institute, CBU Library, and CBU Art Gallery.  The number of internships available varies from year to year, depending on funding.

Applications for the internship program are due in the first week of the fall semester.  A limited number of spring-summer internships are available as well.

Internships provide up to 6 course credits at the 3000 or 4000-level as well as a small stipend.

Please ask history, folklore, or music faculty for details.  Or email the department chair directly at: andy_parnaby@cbu.ca
