Leveraging Technology in Teaching

Technology is changing the way we learn. CBU’s Master in Information Technology (MEd IT), offered in partnership with Memorial University (MUN), is designed to understand and promote the educational use of information technology. Taken online through CBU or MUN, MEd IT courses encompass computer, communications, networking and multimedia applications.

Educators at all levels will find this program interesting and applicable, including K-12 teachers, school administrators and those in the post-secondary system, business and industry, and most other adult learning situations. This program is built to be flexible, available online through full-time or part-time study.

While this co-operatively offered degree may be awarded at convocation at either CBU or MUN, the degree is conferred by MUN. The administration of this program, including the application process, is facilitated through Memorial University of Newfoundland.

  • Applications for admission to the spring or fall intake are due by February 1st
  • Applications for admission to the winter intake are due by September 15th

Visit MUN’s M.Ed(IT) page for further program details and application process here.
