What Is Gender & Women’s Studies?

Gender & Women’s Studies promotes understanding of the intersections, practice, and effects of class, ethnicity, gender, nationality, race, religion and sex. This understanding is imperative for learning to live in a modern, multicultural, diversified society.

This program prepares students to manage, nurture and shape society, through critical understanding, leadership and responsible action.
